Metal Braces

metalKnown as the most traditional form of braces, metal braces use high-grade stainless steel to deliver the perfect smile to our patients. Today's metal braces are smaller and much more comfortable than they have been in the past. At Lennard Orthodontics we have found that this form of braces is extremely popular amongst our younger patients who get to personalize their bands.

To add some style to your smile, try out our online band color planner to preview any color combination for your braces that you can imagine! To use the band color planner, simply click on the color you wish to preview, and then select Color All. You can mix and match different colors to figure out what combination is best for you!

Clear Braces

clearCeramic (clear) braces are similar to metal braces, except they are made with a translucent material that is more aesthetically pleasing. These braces are very popular amongst our adult patients at Lennard Orthodontics due to their cosmetic appeal. The benefit of using clear braces is that you can combine the technology of traditional metal braces with the clear look of Invisalign. We have found that there are a couple of drawbacks to getting clear braces. While they are an excellent choice due to their transparency, they also tend to be more fragile than traditional braces. Additionally, we have found that the elastic ties on ceramic braces can discolor between orthodontic visits.

Invisalign®

invisalignThe Invisalign System is a series of clear overlay templates called aligners that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth. This system is available to adult patients with certain orthodontic bite problems. Ask us if you are a candidate for the Invisalign system.
